Most, if not all, of our Thursday Night Smackdown recipes will be coming from our cookbook collection (which recently doubled in size; thank you, going-out-of-business Borders branch!), and we will be following the recipes as closely as possible. This means that (1) our variations will usually be pretty minor, so that (2) we’re not really comfortable posting the recipes, since we’d essentially by giving them away.
We will continue to post pictures of the ingredients and the process along with our description and review, and you should feel free to put 2 and 2 together and try to re-create it yourself. But if you really like a particular recipe, we urge you to support the chef and buy the cookbook. You can check out our reviews if you’re not sure about dropping the cash on a book based on a single recipe.
We’ll still post full recipes for homemade creations, and will post Smackdown recipes if we’ve adapted the original in some substantial way.
